Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of completing this inviting and sophisticated workspace for one our clients, showcasing elements such as a show-stopping entryway, sleek matte black fixtures, organic materials, and a high-end kitchen, all while highlighting a collection of artwork by local talent.

Before you step foot into the office, you're greeted by an inviting patio space featuring a stunning travertine dining table and a natural color palette that echoes the sandy tones of the nearby beaches. In the main entryway stands a show-stopping custom reception desk that we carefully crafted, boasting an elegant combination of rift white oak and calacatta statuarietto marble. This blend of materials was selected to create a sense of luxury and warmth that sets the tone for the entire workspace.

One of the key design elements that we infused to add a touch of sophistication to this environment is the use of sleek, matte black lighting fixtures and hardware. These fixtures go beyond functionality; they are statement pieces that draw the eye and add a modern touch to the space. Their striking contrast with the organic and light wood materials used throughout the office strikes a perfect balance between the luxury industrial and laid-back California aesthetics we wanted to capture.

The California Cool aesthetic is all about connecting with nature, and this office space embodies that ethos effortlessly. Natural light pours into the room through large windows, and the strategic use of organic materials like wood and stone creates a sense of harmony with the environment. The heart of any workspace is often the kitchen, so we strived to design this space with purpose. Equipped with panel-ready appliances and modern design elements, the kitchen is an ideal blend of form and function. It's a space where employees can gather, collaborate, and unwind in style.

We worked closely with our client to carefully curate a collection of artwork by local photographers Bo Bridges and the artists at House of Spoils. Bo Bridges' photography captures the essence of coastal California, with images that evoke a sense of adventure and the great outdoors. Meanwhile, House of Spoils brings a touch of urban sophistication with their contemporary art pieces. These artworks not only beautify the workspace but also capture the essence of the outdoor environment inside the office.

The final outcome of this office space resonates with luxury and warmth.
